Pummarola - Fort Lauderdale: A Taste of Italy in Every Slice

I recently did the pizza class with my boyfriend and it was so worth it. We had Rosario walk us through how to make our own dough, he was super friendly and had a lot of fun facts about pizza and pummarola itself. I highly recommend doing the class as a date night since for the price you get a to make your own take-home dough, build your own pizza there to eat and a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). It was our first time trying pummarola and it was sooo delicious. The pizza was perfectly cooked, the crust was amazing and overall it was one of the best pizzas we've tried. The take-home dough turned out really good too and it was easy to shape and bake at home. Overall, the price and value of the class and pizza can't be beat. Would love to go back again soon. The only thing I would say is that the parking lot is very very small so plan to get there early.

I had looked for a unique birthday gift experience for a good friend as i came across the idea of a pizza making class. When searching for classes in the area, I found Pummarola as a highly regarded option. Ultimately, I ended up signing myself and my fiance, as well as my friend and his wife up for the class. We were greeted, instructed and served by Rosario, who gave us an excellent hands on experience and explanation of all the steps in the process of pizza making, as well as answered any questions we had. Rosario made us feel right at home, taking the time to explain to us about every ingredient and the reasons that Pummarola offers what it offers to eat. The pizza class was great and the pizza itself was phenomenal. We all had a great time and will be back for another meal in the near future!

I initially booked the make your own pizza class for a different date but they were so accommodating allowing to reschedule since I had to attend a funeral. The restaurant is clean and beautiful! All the employees were so kind, funny, and welcoming. I can tell they enjoy their job due their warm and friendliness towards each other and the guests. The class was so fun and informative! The manager, Rosario, is so kind and friendly and funny. He made this a 10/10 experience! I will definitely be returning.

Every single day they run specials, and I got ridiculously lucky when I walked in because it was $6 Margherita pizza day — like… how is that even real for this quality?! The Margherita pizza was absolute perfection: fresh, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and just pure Italian comfort food bliss. I also ordered their minestrone soup, and WOW — it was the most amazing minestrone I’ve ever had. Rich, hearty, fresh, and clearly homemade with love. But here’s the thing that really made the experience unforgettable: the people. The staff makes you feel like FAMILY the moment you walk in. Rosario, in particular, was beyond kind — such a genuinely warm, wonderful human. He went out of his way to make me feel welcome and even let me try one of their homemade cookies… and I’m still thinking about it. It was to die for Truly — there is not one single thing in this restaurant that I wouldn’t say tasted phenomenal. Every bite, every detail, every interaction was perfect. I can’t wait to go back. This place is now officially on my must-repeat list. Pummarola pizza has always been our go to for Neapolitan style pizzas the food and service are great! Food is usually served very quickly and is not only delicious, but also a great value for the money The ingredient quality and simplicity really makes the dishes shine Would highly recommend if you are looking for a good pizza in the area

We took a cooking class today. We had so much fun rossario was extremely nice and helpful. It wouldn’t be the same without him. The staff was also being fun and involved. Super positive environment. I would really recommend everyone to come here. The environment was amazing. A fun thing to do in a night out.

My mom and I went for a pizza making class and we had the best time! Rosario was a very patient and thorough instructor who was kind enough to give us the complete recipe and steps after class. Not to mention the pizza was the best pizza I’ve had in the U.S., it took me right back to Italy!

Such a kind, friendly, and genuinely great guy He explained everything clearly, helped everyone step by step, and made the whole experience super enjoyable.
